He's a retired actor who is somewhat sick, so much that he requires round-the-clock, nursing care. Walter Borden co-stars as Melvyn Peabody, an elderly black man who looks like he could be an octogenarian. His mother gets him a job at a nursing facility and Lake takes every opportunity to stare lustfully at the old men. Lake works as a lifeguard at an indoor, swimming pool and he gets an erection rescuing an elderly man after giving the elderly man mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. There is a slow-motion shot, as Lake gazes at a crossing guard who might be in his sixties or older. However, Lake seems to be sexually attracted to older if not very old men.
He has a girlfriend Désirée, played by Katie Boland. Pier-Gabriel Lajoie stars as Lake, a young man probably no older than 21 who lives in Canada and speaks French, as well as English.
